Kasauti Star Manoj Bohra (Prem) rejected as Chief Guest from Mizoram Peace Festival 2006

Manoj Bohra also known as Karanvir Bohra as Prem Basu/Yudi (Co-Villain) in Kasautii Zindagii Kay (2001-2008).
Mizo Women protest that a villain can never be Chief Guest of Mizoram Peace Festival (2006). Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) treatened to take action if Prem made an appearance. Manoj Bohra (Prem) was paid Rs.75,000 as cancellation fees.
“What’s the point in barring my entry in Mizoram? I’m an actor and so what if I am playing a negative character in a show? I took it very personally when I first learnt about it. And I’m still confused about the actual reasons that could have led to the situation,” said Kasautii Co-Villain Manoj Bohra (Prem).
